Adèle LAURENT Nantes Université | CEISAM → Page professionnelle Titre à venir I grew up in Namur, Belgium, where I earned a Master’s degree in Chemistry in 2007. Then I moved to Nancy where I spent three years completing a PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, focusing on multi-scaling approaches. Afterward, I spent two months at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia before moving to the University of Southern California for a postdoctoral position. Since October 2012 I have been a CNRS researcher at CEISAM Laboratory from Nantes University. In 2018, I have been awarded Etoile Montante by the Region Pays de La Loire, and in 2023, I was appointed Director of Research at CNRS. As a computational chemist, my experise spans from quantum chemistry to molecular modeling. I am particularly interested in studying light-molecule or macromolecule interactions using multi-scaling approaches to simulate optical properties of embedded dyes or photochromes. Additionally, I have a strong focus on biological questions, specially ligand-protein or protein-protein interactions in order to identify new potent inhibitors or biomarkers using drug design and molecular dynamics simulations. Mathieu MEVEL Nantes Université | TARGET → Page professionnelle Bioconjugated adeno-associated virus vectors: bridging organic chemistry and vectorology for enhanced gene therapy. [abstract] Mathieu Mevel holds a PhD from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest, where he specialized in the synthesis of non-viral vectors for gene therapy applications. He then completed a postdoctoral position at Imperial College London, where he continued his work on non-viral vector systems for therapeutic purposes. He subsequently joined the CEISAM laboratory in Nantes for a fellowship focused on developing ligands for the complexation of radioactive metals. Later, he moved to the Institut du Thorax in Nantes to advance synthetic strategies for nucleic acid delivery. Currently, he is a researcher at the TaRGeT laboratory in Nantes, collaborating with the CEISAM laboratory to develop bioconjugation methods for modifying the surfaces of viral vectors and cell membranes for applications in gene and cell therapy. |
